Justin Bieber was accused of having a tussle with a paparazzo as he and Selena Gomez were inspecting wares at an upscale Southern California shopping center. The photog says Bieber socked him.
Really? That's hard to believe of Mrs. Bieber's "husband."
As The Times reported Monday, the pop star was under investigation for possible misdemeanor battery against the photographer, who was snapping photos of him and girlfriend Gomez as they were doing a little Memorial Day weekend shopping at the Commons at Calabasas.
Police wanted to have a few words with Bieber as well as any possible witnesses, L.A. Now reported.
The paparazzo said he was having chest pains following Saturday's alleged thumping by the pop star and was treated at a Los Angeles hospital and released, according to officials.
Bieber fans will likely be withholding judgment on the slugging. This is a guy, after all, who still doesn't look like he can grow a full beard.
And it wasn't so long ago that Bieber spent time with Avalanna Routh -- the little girl better known as Mrs. Bieber to her pals -- who is suffering from a rare form of brain cancer. In February, he visited his young fan, hugged and smooched her, and they played Candyland.
