The Psychometer: Who Went Too Far Last Week?

David McCullough Jr., a teacher at Wellesley High School in Massachusetts, gave a commencement address to his students that pounded into them their lack of individuality."You're not special," he repeated to a crowd of 18-year-olds. The ultimate message of his speech -- to follow your dreams because you believe in their importance, not because you believe you are entitled to them -- is actually quite noble, but may not comforting to kids going into a world where half of all college graduates can't find jobs.

Miley Cyrus, 19, may be the world's most famous perpetual eighth-grader, but she announced last week that she and her longterm boyfriend are getting hitched. No word on what designer is providing her sideboob wedding dress.

The loss of a family pet is always sad, but one Dutch artistreacted to the death of his cat in a unique way -- he had him stuffed, and then turned him into a helicopter. Definitely the most alarming cat video of the week.
