“ And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ”
2Peter.1:5-8 KJV
----------Diligence in all things shows you are willing to stick to the job at hand and get it done. Diligence also is good when studying scripture. Use Diligence to add these Good fruits unto your day to day Christian walk with God. Start by adding Faith to Virtue. Faith in the right things is Awesome, like Faith in God and Faith in His word, and Faith in Jesus our Savior! Faith leads to Virtue. Virtue shows you are not of this present evil world but of God. Virtue leads to Knowledge. Knowledge is power in this world but using knowledge of God for Good is even better than gaining power. Knowledge leads to temperance. Temperance means self-control; to be able to control you emotions and be calm. Temperance leads to Patience. If you are calm then chances are you are Patient as well. Blessed are those who wait upon the Lord. Patience leads to Godliness. Godliness is Great Gain. For when you are truly Of God you are Godly. Godliness leads to Brotherly Kindness. To be Kind to those around you like they are your family. Even if they revile you and hurt you Be kind with Brotherly/Sisterly Kindeness. Brotherly/Sisterly Kindeness leads finally to Charity. Charity is LOVE in ACTION!!! And Love is the Greatest of All. It was LOVE and Charity (LOVE IN ACTION) That Caused GOD to send Jesus here in the First Place! AMEN! May all these Good Fruits abound in your Heart and Soul as to Heaven we travel!!When the Excitement Fades
John 21:1-22 Nobody wants to be known as a quitter, yet all of us have been disappointed by them at some point in time. Perhaps this is the time to ask, Am I a quitter? Likely, no one reading these words admit to being such. However one of the most discouraging realities in the church is the average believer's inability to stick it out. When the going gets tough, the ranks thin quickly. The dropout rate in Christianity is alarming. Few believers follow through on their initial zeal for Christ, and the loss to the church in potential ministry is great. The ministry of the local church is often hampered by those who give up when the way forward becomes too difficult.
Apparently, Peter felt like quitting. The resurrection of Christ had already occurred and an angel...See More- OLDER POSTS
“ For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words. ”
1Thess.4:16-18 KJV
----------This passage is such an uplifting one! Are you ready for the Rapture? For Jesus himself shall descend from Heaven with a Shout! Everyone will see when the dead in Christ shall rise out of the grave and meet Jesus in the Air!! A moment later we who are alive and are in Christ, born again, will be caught up together ,with everyone who had died before , in the Clouds; in the sky! So shall we ever be with the Lord Jesus! This will happen but the question is, are you ready? Comfort others with these words.Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh:
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit, offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?Urgent Request

“For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?” (Esther 8:6).
A story is told of wise and urgent intervention of Abigail, the wife of Nabal to save her husband from the wrath of King David. Nabal had provoked David to anger by his actions and would have paid with his life; but when Abigail got wind of the evil determined against her husband, she quickly ran to meet David and his host, and profusely pleaded on behalf of Nabal. Had she wasted time, her husband would havebeen killed.
